Here
are
some
samples

our
Newspaper
fonts,
together
with
Microsoft
Georgia
for comparison. The size is 10 points and the interline leading
is 11.5 points. Gisborne is quite similar to Georgia, though the cap
height is lower, the lowercase characters are slightly wider, and the
uppercase characters are noticably wider. Essex is similar to Gisborne,
but the strokes are thinner and the x-height is lower. The character
widths are nearly identical.

points and the interline leading is 11.5 points. The three fonts have
widths that are nearly the same. SGaramond is slightly lighter than
Times, with taller ascenders and more open holes. Bentley is noticably
lighter than Times, with a smaller x-height.
